The following steps explain how to restart services on your Windows server:

1. Log into your server through Remote Desktop Connection.
2. Click Start, Programs, Administrative Tools and select Services.
3. Single click on the service name and you will get 3 options on the left side to Stop, Pause and Restart.
4. The service can be restarted by right clicking on the service also.
