Hi,

Is it possible to install Linux based distribution if main node is using Windows server 2008 OS?

Will it be possible if I purchase Virtuozzo license?

You can create both Linux VPS and Windows VPS using Virtuozzo.  But, if main node is using Windows OS then you can create only Windows VPS using Virtuozzo. You can not create Linux based VPS with it. On the same way if main node is using Linux OS then you can only create Linux based VPS.

Virtuozzo uses OS virtualization technique. It can only be possible with technique using Hardware level virtualization like VMWare.
