Virtuozzo

You will have to install some packages manually in container after you create Linux Virtuozzo Container. They are not created by default. For example, mostly used package called YUM. You need to run below commands from main hardware node.

1) List all the containers on the server.

# vzlist -a
CTID NPROC STATUS IP_ADDR HOSTNAME
1 91 running 19.18.39.29 ServiceCT
2 - stopped - ServiceCT
101 56 running 1.2.3.4 ct101
277 48 running 1.2.3.5 ct277
319 45 running 1.2.3.6 ct319

2) CTID corresponding to the container ID on which you want to install YUM and apply following command.

Lets take CTID 270

# vzpkg install -p 270 yum

Package is ready to be used on container ct277 after this command.
